Job Description

Position Summary

The Marketing Director for Club 4 Fitness will be responsible for developing the long-range strategic vision and marketing plans. The Marketing Director must be self-directed, entrepreneurial, resourceful and detail-oriented in connecting and engaging the necessary individuals and teams required to accomplish projects in accordance with established strategies, timelines and budgets.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees creative campaign development, communicating clearly with the design team
  • Leads social media - Facebook - Instagram campaign strategy and execution, with a consistent engaging voice throughout the year, including on-site at events - Member Appreciation Day - Charity Events, Community Partnerships - Open Houses - Grand Openings
  • Manages digital and public relations agencies plans and execution - Member Buying Perks - Retail and Supplement Display - 
  • Responsible for market analysis leveraged for plan development 
  • Analyzes and manages pricing strategy, revenue budgeting & registration forecasting with consultation from Operations and Finance Managers
  • Manages event marketing budgets working with financial directors to ensure profitability and ensure budgets are managed responsibly for Print, Social Media, Radio, and Billboards
  • Works in close collaboration with Sales to define sponsor opportunities and relevant engagement/activation for sponsors
  • Recruits develop and manage brand advocates
  • Serves as the on-site event media manager
  • Develops production creative briefs and directs on-site event photo and video crews


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
  • 5+ years of prior marketing experience
  • 3+ years prior event or brand marketing manager experience
  • Strong skills in data and financial analysis
  • Previous experience with New Business Development
  • Brand Franchise or Licensing Management Experience
  • Experience managing agencies, such as public relations, digital, or graphic design
  • Leadership driven, and goal-oriented with an entrepreneurial focus to find ways to break down potential barriers to consistent and predictable growth
  • Motivated by challenges with a robust sense of confidence, curiosity, intensity, and objectivity
  • Ability to craft vision and strategy and make it come to life with actionable plans
  • High familiarity with leading brand development planning, innovation, and creative ideation processes
  • Ability to communicate precise innovation brand strategy to key customers that result in new strategy execution
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational/time management, writing, research, analytical, communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly capable of writing/evaluating (marketing plans, partnership proposals, marketing analytics reports, etc.)
  • Strong public speaking skills (on-camera interviews, videos, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time to planned events
  • Effectively communicate and interact with others
  • Interact with media outlets, event ops managers, sales team members, other internal team members, athletes, and new athlete populations
  • Use reasoning and solve problems through deduction
  • Select early morning, late night and weekend availability is required, especially during key event weekends
  • Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google
